Enter your library borrower number without
the BIP into the Library Card No. box.
Enter your borrower PIN number in the PIN
No. box.
Click Login.
The UCEEL personal welcome page should now
be displayed. This indicates that you are logged in.

Click the Log off option in the top menu
bar.
If you have problems logging in or accessing material
Are you using the correct Library Card
No. and PIN?
You will find your borrower number on the back of your library
card and your PIN on a slip of paper given to you when you joined
the library. If you have lost your PIN, please contact your local
Birmingham City University library or request it here.
Have you only recently joined the library
or changed your user details?
UCEEL user information is updated on a nightly basis so your
details may not have been added to the system yet.
Are you a student registered on a Birmingham City University
course or a member of staff?
Only registered students and members of staff are entitled to
login.
Scroll through and read the rights statements
that are displayed.
Select the Close button at the bottom of
the text.
The document is usually previewed
in Acrobat. If required, enlarge the window using the usual browser
window options. You do not have to change the original display to
print the paper off in A4 size.
To print
Press the print icon in Acrobat.
Choose option to print all or selected pages
of the document.
From the opened document Click the Back button on your Internet
browser to go back to your search results.
Use the X in the top right hand corner of the window to go back
to your original search form.
System time out There is a time out facility that operates for
security purposes. The time out is activated by keyboard inactivity.
All UCEEL pages will time out after 20 minutes if a key hasn't been
pressed during that time. If this causes you difficulty in using
the system please contact the UCEEL Team
At the bottom of the display it tells you how many
pages are in the file and which page you are currently viewing.
You can click the arrows in the toolbar at
the top of the screen to go from page to page.
Click the first icon from the left with a
page displayed on it to see the document in its original size.
Use the third icon from the left with the page symbol displayed
on it to enlarge again.
You can also use the magnifying glass to improve
the text size on the screen. Click on this icon and then click
on the area of the document you wish to enlarge.
